Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has ruled himself out of a possible return to football in the future.

Nyantakyi was ousted as GFA president after being implicated in a 2018 investigative piece by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The former FIFA Council member was banned for life before the Court of Arbitration for Sports reduced it to 15 years and he has no intention of returning to the sport.

“I don’t know [when I’ll come back to football]. I’m a lawyer and I have too many things doing now,” he told Kings GHTV Sports.

“I have taken a back seat. I don’t know much about Ghana football now. I don’t follow as I used to when I was there.” he added.

The former CAF Vice President ruled Ghana football for 13 years – 2005 to 2018. Ghana qualified to its first World Cup in 2006 under his presidency.
