Mohammed Kudus was on target for Ajax in their shocking 6-1 home defeat to Napoli in the UEFA champions league on Tuesday night.

The Dutch giants took an early lead at the Johan Cruyff Arena after Kenneth Taylor shot deflected off Kudus into the back of the net.

The 9th minute strike was his third goal in as many matches in Europe’s elite competition this season.

However, the visitors responded well by coming back from behind to seize control of the match.

Giacomo Raspadori bagged a brace, while Di Lorenzo, Zeilinski, Kvaratshkelia and Giovanni Simeone all got their names on the scoresheet for the Italians in an historic win.

Ajax finished the match with 10 men after captain Dusan Tadic was sent off in the 74th minute for his second yellow card.

The win keeps Napoli top of their group with Liverpool trailing just behind on six points, following a 2-0 home win over Rangers.
