The police are directly holding a jealous man for the killing of his ex-husband wife’s in the community of Edwinase-Munsunkwa, located in the Wassa East District of the Western Region.

The incident is believed to have been done by the suspect, whose name has been supplied as Kojo Arthur AKA Capo, and his friend Buabeng.

The Assembly member representing the Edwinase Electoral region, George Arthur, confirmed the event to Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM’s Omanbapa morning show and said that the suspect had three children with the ex-wife, Edufuwa.

“They were wed, but they later got divorced for some private reasons. The woman left the area and started seeing another man in the nearby town, but it appears her ex-husband was still in love with her and made the decision to defend her.

They haven’t had any children together, but they’ve been getting along quite well up until the tragic tragedy,” he said.

He claims that the suspect went to his ex-home wife’s late on Thursday, October 13, with a buddy out of jealousy and committed the crime.

They had a machete and other weapons when they went there. As soon as they arrived at his ex-home, wife’s they attacked her new spouse and hacked him in the throat. Because no one was nearby to assist, he passed away from massive bleeding.

Due to the poor condition of our roads, all attempts to get him to the closest hospital were fruitless, he said.

Robert Osei’s body was later placed at the Jukwa Hospital, and the suspect and his buddy were turned over to authorities for further investigation.

“They decided to sneak out from the community after committing the crime but they were apprehended by some youth. They tied them up until the police arrived and handed them over. They are currently in the custody of the Atobiase Police Station in the same district” the Assembly member indicated.
