Ghana star Mohammed Kudus puts up 5-star performance for Ajax in defeat to Liverpool

Mohammed Kudus was on target for Ajax in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Ghanaian international continued his purple patch as he scored in his fourth consecutive game for the Dutch giants.

Mohammed Salah opened the scoring for the hosts at Anfield in the 17th minute before Kudus’ magnificent strike ten minutes later to restore parity.

The 22 year old thumped in an emphatic finish off the underside of the bar after he was played in by Steven Berghuis.

Joel Matip snatched the win with a header from a corner late in the game to hand the English Premier League giants their first win of the ongoing Champions League campaign.

Mohammed Kudus was replaced by Brian Brobbey in the 86th minute.

Ajax has 3 points after 2 games in the champions league.
